Little Venice etc

Little Venice is one of those places in London that hardly anyone mentions. There's a big tah-do about Soho & East London; mostly because they're as cool as a Penguin on an Arctic day. Little Venice is more old school kitch, but in my eyes, a hell of a lot more appealing as it doesn't seem to grasp onto  an air of affectation. It just wants to show off it's multi-coloured bunting & big beautiful boats, and  I'm more than happy to watch and smile.

H&M dress, Topshop denim jacket & bag, Warehouse sandals & River Island sunnies.
Afterwards, we wandered over to Notting Hill for some pretty snaps and prettier food. Daylesford Organic seemed to be the place of the moment, and so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about.
Smoked salmon with an array of garnishes & rye bread.
Bubble & Squeak, a fried egg & homemade brown sauce.
Fair play, they lived up to their name. Everything was fresh, original, organic & guilt-free. A real feel-good meal, to fill you up and make you feel... great.
